I did a little decorating at the store. Check out these pictures.

Something for Inside
I finished a collection of rugs/blanket and throw pillows for my store Inside & Out. These are the first of the items for the "inside" of homes. I tried to think of colors that would look good in the houses released so far. I made a number of poses and put in them too.
I put a few out at the store on Vetiver and the whole collection on marketplace. On Marketplace you can buy individual pillows or some pre-made collections.
Here are some pictures of various collections so you can see how they look together. Each piece is priced very low so you can but several and pile them up on a couch, on the bed or even on a blanket on the floor.

The next step
This week I'm adding decorative items to the store on Marketplace. So far I've added a sculpty stone and some large sculpty planters. I made both of these sculpty items from scratch. They are modify and copy so you can change the size if you need to.
I'm working on an accessory pack of items for the beach houses..rugs, pillows and some decorative items. Stay tuned.

Progress on the New Store
You wouldn't think a small store would take so long to set up. Well...it does..So there.
Just kidding.
The store on Vetiver really is almost ready to open. When you only have 20 prims, decorating is an interesting challenge. I've started to make some rugs and some lighting to go in my houses, so I think I will use them as decoration.
Image via WikipediaI'm working with a friend to make some Elvis-themed items to put in a gatcha. Since the sim is owned by an Elvis tribute performer, we thought that would be appropriate. So far we have some classic Elvis static poses. I want to make some elvis themed items for the houses to put in there too before we open.
So keep watching for notice about the grand opening!

Two New Additions to the Store
Hello again everyone.
Today I added two of my sculptures to the store on Marketplace. Each of them costs 50 Lindens. They are large pieces that i built for my sculpture garden, but they would look great in a home with a large open space so you can walk around and see the pieces from all sides. I hope you will check them out on Marketplace or visit my sculpture garden in SL at this SLURL: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Walcha%20Plain/250/84/76
Both pieces are abstract. I usually just play with shapes, bending and twisting till something starts to feel right. Then I play with textures and color. These two pieces both have a watery feel with animated water and shades of blue and green predominating.
Here are some pictures of the 2 pieces
Intersecting Spaces - 6 prims, 6 x 5 meters, 6 meters tall
Columns Piercing Upright Water - 6 prims, 4 x 5, 4 meters tall

Playing with Poses
I've decided one thing I can add to my houses for Inside & Out are touches like built in furniture with poses. I'd love to build a house with a dormer window that has a little window seat with a dream lounging pose for those rainy afternoons.
So I am learning how to make poses. Here is a picture of the first lounge pose I created. I worked hard to get the hands in the lap and not stuck in the legs. And I'm learning how to turn the poses into animations so you can expect a little movement in the avatar to make it more realistic.
